I had just sent Scott out to get some bug spray. It has been raining, all of us have been sick, and the kids have been cooped up in the house for several days. But you just can't go outside these days without your deet! I called my mom just after Scott left for the store to give her the update on all of us. I looked out the window as I was talking to her and said, "Oh, no."
"What?" Mamma asked.
I said, "I just sent Scott to get some bug spray so the kids could go outside, and it just now started raining."
Mamma laughed, and then said, "Well, put their bathing suits on and send them out in the rain!"
I thought that was a great idea, so that's exactly what I did. Noodle ran and ran all over the neighborhood. Chicken Nugget and I had a hard time keeping up with her. The girls splashed in every puddle and I followed, carrying my umbrella! They had the best time. We eventually had to go inside. I think Chicken Nugget was ready, but not Noodle. She cried and wanted to stay outside. That girl!
So, it's a soggy Fourth, but it's not a total loss.
See, all of you should come and see us! Even when it rains, we still go outside and have a great time!

Great pics! I love those chickens!
My mom and I went to see The Devil Wears Prada. I was pleasantly surprised. Good flick.
Love you!

I'm sure my neighbors are glad I don't run around the neighborhood in my swimsuit anymore, but that sure looks like a lot of fun! I can't believe how big Ms. Noodle is!
Oh, no, girl! I was fully clothed and holding the umbrella! Noodle is getting big like your Sam. It goes by so, so fast.
CBB, I do want to see that movie! It looks cute. How about Nacho Libre???
